Webster Pass connects the South Park area to Montezuma via a rocky talus-strewn route at 12,096 feet. The east approach is manageable; the west side descends through serious switchbacks that will challenge both driving skill and nerves. Located in Pike National Forest near Breckenridge, it's popular but serious — don't underestimate the west descent just because the summit views are calm.
