Rollins Pass

Status Unknown Moderate 11,671 ft ~16 miles dirt/rocky

Rollins Pass follows a historic railroad grade built in 1903, offering a unique blend of history and high-alpine scenery along the Front Range. The east approach from Nederland climbs steadily through forests to above-treeline terrain with sweeping views of the Continental Divide. Note that the west side is closed due to a collapsed tunnel — east access only. A great moderate trail for newer overlanders building high-altitude experience.
