Hell's Revenge

Status Unknown Moderate 4,600 ft ~6 miles slickrock/sandstone

Hell's Revenge is Moab's most iconic slickrock loop — a bucket-list trail for any overlander. Smooth Navajo sandstone forms a naturally grippy surface that rewards smooth, deliberate driving. The route features steep roll-overs, exposed sidehills, and dramatic canyon rim views above the Colorado River. It's Moab's best introduction to slickrock technique, but don't mistake 'moderate' for 'easy' — tippy moments and commitment moves require full attention.
