At 12,800 feet, the rocky gravel road delivers sweeping panoramic views without the technical extremes of its neighbors. Part of the Colorado Backcountry Discovery Route, it's a great first high-pass trail — challenging enough to feel real, manageable enough to build confidence for what comes next.
